Erin Canada, LMSW (Located in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts)
I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. I have a passion for helping others,
I have experience working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, life transitions/stressors, relationship issues and grief and loss. I gravitate toward utilizing a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach along with focusing on your strengths, and utilizing mindfulness techniques. I believe it is important for us to understand how our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected. Once we have this awareness, we can begin to create small changes.
My goal is to create a strong therapeutic relationship while fostering a safe environment and encourage self-awareness and growth.
I am empathetic and compassionate. I have a great variety of life experiences and knowledge to share and assist others in their time of need. I am a great listener and nonjudgmental.
