About Me

I believe young people deserve a space where they can be honest about what they’re feeling without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I bring a calm, warm, and steady presence to therapy, especially during the heavy and uncomfortable moments that can feel overwhelming for children and teens.

I take time to build genuine trust and meet each client where they are. Rather than viewing a young person as a problem that needs to be fixed, I help them recognize their strengths, understand their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and build the confidence they need to move forward.

Who I Work With

I work with children, teens, and young adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family conflict, major life changes, ADHD and concentration difficulties, low self-esteem, stress, and other emotional challenges.

Trauma work is a significant part of my clinical experience. I have supported young people in psychiatric units, residential treatment settings, juvenile justice environments, and anti-trafficking programs. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how trauma, abuse, loss, and instability can affect a young person’s emotions, relationships, behavior, and sense of safety.

How I Can Help

As a Licensed Social Worker certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based support that helps young people process difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

I incorporate emotional regulation skills, mindfulness, healthy coping strategies, and practical tools that clients can use outside of therapy. My goal is to help young people move beyond simply surviving difficult experiences and begin developing a greater sense of safety, control, confidence, and resilience.
