Hello! My name is Erin Smith and I am so glad you are here taking a step toward a better life. I would love to find out if I can help you live your life with more peace and integrity.

I bring a wealth of life experience and knowledge to my clients. I earned two degrees in Sociology before doing my Master's in Social Work at Ohio State, which means that I bring a rich understanding  of social environments and research to my work. I have worked extensively with teens and adults in non-profit social service organizations. I have moved many times during my adult life, and recognize how impactful big life transitions can be. I have also experienced and healed from a complex chronic health condition. Additionally, I have teenage and young adult children and have experienced the joys and struggles of parenting--from the bleary-eyed newborn days to parenting adult children.

I would love to support you through your own unique experiences and challenges. I believe that we all have the capacity to grow. My ideal client has come to a place in their lives where they want to move forward to change something that isn't working for them, but they aren't sure how to do it. They may feel stuck. They want to figure out how to live with more ease and joy, or may have a goal that they are unsure how to achieve. They have come to therapy to connect, to learn new skills and to be able to learn how to live the life that they want.
