About My Approach
Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming. Opening up and allowing yourself to be vulnerable is not easy—but by exploring therapy, you’ve already taken the first courageous step.
As a therapist, I use a person center approach , which means you remain in control of the process. My role is to create a warm, empathetic, and judgment-free space where you feel safe to explore your emotions, build coping skills, and work toward healing. I walk alongside you, not in front of you, as we define your goals together and move at your pace.
My Background
Before becoming a therapist, I conducted research on health equity, with a focus on improving access to care through effective communication. This experience continues to shape my commitment to creating inclusive, supportive spaces in therapy. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading, knitting, and finding new coffee spots around the city.
Who I Work With
My ideal client is someone who is open to trying—or continuing—therapy, even if you’re unsure of what to expect. Maybe you’ve tried therapy before and had a difficult experience, or maybe this is your first time and you’re questioning the value of talking to a stranger. Either way, I invite you to give it a chance.
I also work with teens who may be starting therapy because of a parent’s encouragement, as well as adults and young adults who may already know the benefits of therapy but are seeking a new connection. Together, we’ll talk about what has worked for you in the past, what hasn’t, and where you’d like to begin now.
I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, body image issues, perfectionism, trauma, burnout, family and relationship challenges, divorce, and more.
